ELDERBERRY PIE 
2 c. elderberries
1 1/2 c. chopped apples (tart)
1 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
3 tbsp. quick cooking tapioca or 4 tbsp. flour

Wash and stem elderberries and peel apples. Combine the fruit, sugar, salt an tapioca and spoon mixture into pastry lined 9 inch pan. Dot with butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes then 375 degrees for 20 to 25 minutes.
