MAPLE SYRUP PIE 
3 slightly beaten eggs
1 c. maple syrup
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. melted butter
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1 tsp. vanilla extract
Dash salt
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 unbaked 9-inch pastry shell

Mix eggs, sugar, syrup, butter, flour, vanilla, and salt. Beat smooth with rotary beater. Stir in nuts. Fill pastry shell. Bake at 350 degrees about 40 minutes. Serve plain or with whipped cream.
