PEAR CRISP | |
4 1/2 c. thinly sliced, peeled, cored pears 1 tsp. grated lemon rind 1 tbsp. lemon juice 2 tbsp. sugar 1/4 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 c. quick rolled oats 1/4 c. whole wheat or white flour 1/4 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. cinnamon 3 tbsp. butter 1/2 - 1 c. nuts (optional) 1/2 - 1 c. raisins (optional) Combine first 5 ingredients in medium bowl. Transfer to greased 8 inch square pan. In a small bowl, combine oats, flour, brown sugar and cinnamon. Cut butter into flour until crumbly. Sprinkle over pears. Sprinkle raisins and nuts. Bake 45 minutes in 350 degree oven. |
