MISSISSIPPI MUD CAKE 
2 c. sugar
2 sticks butter
1/3 c. cocoa
1 c. chopped pecans
1 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 tsp. vanilla
5 oz. miniature marshmallows
4 eggs

Cream sugar and butter together. Add eggs and mix well. Sift together flour, cocoa and dash of salt and add to first mixture. Beat well. Add vanilla and nuts. Pour into greased 9x13 pan and bake 35 minutes at 300 degrees. Remove from oven and sprinkle marshmallows over top. Return to oven for 10 minutes. Allow cake to cool and cover with frosting as described below.

FROSTING INGREDIENTS:

1/3 c. cocoa
1/4 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix cocoa and sugar. Add butter, milk and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Add nuts.
