BUTTERSCOTCH CANDY 
1 lb. sugar
1/2 c. water
3 oz. butter

Put butter, sugar, and water into a pan and dissolve slowly. Bring to boil and test by dropping a little into cold water. Put into greased pan and when beginning to set, cut into squares and when cool, wrap each piece in greased paper.
