BUTTERSCOTCH PRALINE CANDY 
1 pkg. butterscotch pudding mix, NOT instant
1 c. sugar
1/2 c. hot milk
1 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 c. pecans

Omitting the pecans, cook over low heat until sugar dissolves and mixture comes to a full boil. Boil slowly 3-5 minutes, stirring often until the soft ball stage. Remove from heat, add nuts and beat until candy thickens, but is still glossy. Drop quickly with tablespoon onto waxed paper to form patties.
