YAM JAMS 
2 apples (McIntosh) sliced, do not peel
1/3 c. chopped pecans
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
2 (17 oz.) cans Royal Prince yams, drained
1/4 c. butter
2 c. miniature marshmallows

Mix together sugar, nuts, cinnamon. Toss with apples to coat. Alternate layers of apples, butter, and yams in 1 1/2 quart casserole.

Cover. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 to 40 minutes. Sprinkle with marshmallows. Broil until lightly brown. Serves 10.
