TACO PIE 
12 tortilla chips, broken
1 lb ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg taco seasoning mix
1 can refried beans
1 9" deep dish pie crust
1/3 cup taco sauce
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
shredded lettuce
chopped tomatoes
sour cream
hot sauce, for garnishing

Preheat oven to 400°F.

Prick bottom of pie crust. Bake 10 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool.

Reduce heat to 350°F.

In a skillet, saute onion and beef until browned and drain fat. Add taco seasoning and prepare according to package directions. In small bowl, combine refried beans and 1/3 cup taco sauce.

Spread half of the bean mixture onto bottom of cooled pie crust. Top with seasoned meat, 1 cup cheese and broken tortilla chips.

Repeat layers again, except for the chips.

Bake 20-25 minutes.

Let stand 10 minutes before serving. Top with lettuce, tomato, sour cream, shredded cheese and hot sauce.
