PECAN PIE | |
9 inch pie pastry (or Pet-Ritz pie shell) 3 eggs, slightly beaten 1/2 c. brown or white sugar 1/4 tsp. salt 1 c. light corn syrup 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1 c. pecans, broken Set oven at 450 degrees. Mix ingredients and pour into unbaked pie shell. Bake 10 minutes at 450 degrees, then reduce heat to 350 degrees and bake 35 minutes longer. Chill. When ready to serve, may be topped with whipped cream or Cool Whip. Can garnish with pecan halves. |
