ROCKS 
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. light brown sugar
1/3 c. bourbon (or 1/3 c. milk)
2 eggs
1/2 c. butter
1 c. chopped dates
1 c. light raisins
1 c. walnuts, coarsely chopped
Candied red or green cherries for garnish

Cream butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Mix dry ingredients with fruit. Combine the two mixtures with bourbon or milk. Drop by spoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 12 minutes at 350 degrees. Can be decorated with candied red or green cherries. Yields 3 dozen.
