SQUASH APPLE CASSEROLE 
1 lg. butternut squash (winter or dumbell)
2 or 3 apples, skins on
1/4 c. melted butter
1 tbsp. flour
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. nutmeg

Peel squash and cut into chunks. Core apples and cut into slices. Combine melted butter, flour, brown sugar, salt, and nutmeg and pour over apples and squash which has been combined and put into any square baking dish. Bake covered at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until squash is fork tender.
