AUNT ROSE'S BRISKET OF BEEF 
Lg. brisket of beef
Paprika
Lowry's seasoned salt
Garlic salt
Kitchen Bouquet
2 or 3 jars mushroom gravy
Chopped onion
Water
Potatoes (optional)
Carrots (optional)

Trim fat off of meat. On each side of the meat sprinkle on some paprika, Lowry's and garlic salt. Rub in some Kitchen Bouquet on each side of meat. Put meat in pan and add onion, gravy and a little water. Cover and bake 1 hour (approximately). Remove from pan and slice very thinly. Return to pan and bake another hour or so. Carrots and potatoes may be added the last hour.
