BOSTON STEW 
1 lb. ground beef
4 big potatoes
1 can tomato soup
2 tbsp. butter
4 big onions
4 carrots
1 can water
Salt & pepper to taste

Brown the beef in butter. Peel and wash vegetables. Cut into cubes. In big casserole put alternate layers of meat and vegetables or if preferred mix all up good. Season with salt and pepper. Add tomato soup and water. Bake at 350 degrees for about 2 1/2 hours. Cover tightly.
