BLACK WALNUT POUND CAKE 
4 c. plain flour
3 c. sugar
10 eggs
4 sticks butter, softened
1 tsp. flavoring - either black walnut or vanilla
2 c. black walnuts, finely chopped

Cream butter real well, then add sugar a little at a time. Then add 1 egg and little flour until all eggs and flour are used up. Add flavoring and nuts. Bake in greased and floured tube pan for 2 hours at 300 degrees.
