BROWNIE TORTE 
3 egg whites
1/2 tsp. vanilla
Dash of salt
3/4 c. sugar
3/4 c. chocolate cookie crumbs
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Beat 3 egg whites, vanilla and salt to soft peaks. Gradually add 3/4 cup sugar. Beat to stiff peaks. Fold in cookie crumbs and walnuts. Spread in a buttered 9 inch pie plate. Bake in slow oven at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Cool well. Top with Cool Whip (tinted with a little cocoa) and chocolate curls or chopped walnuts.
