CATHERINE'S CHOCOLATE CHIP
COFFEE CAKE
 
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. walnuts
1/2 c. chocolate bits
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 lb. butter
2 eggs
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix together in a small bowl cinnamon, sugar, walnuts, and chocolate bits; set aside. Sift flour, salt, and baking soda; set aside. Cream sugar, baking powder, and butter and add eggs, sour cream, and vanilla. Stir in the flour mixture. Mix well.

Pour half of cake mixture in tube pan. Sprinkle on half of topping mixture. Pour the rest of the cake mixture in the pan and follow with the remainder of the topping mixture. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.
