OPEN FACE SANDWICH 
25 pieces, thin sliced rye bread (snack bread)
25 pieces of sliced precooked (or uncooked) ham (boneless ham is best)
1 lb. (25 slices) Velveeta cheese
1 lg. or 2 med. tomatoes

Serves 4-6 people. Arrange rye bread on ungreased cookie sheets. Place a slice of ham on each rye bread, next slice of cheese; then slice of tomato. Sprinkle lightly with salt and pepper. Bake in preheated oven at 400 degrees for 8 minutes. Then broil for approximately 2-3 minutes or until golden brown on top. White bread may be used. If thick sliced bread is used, it's best to toast the bread on one side before placing your ingredients on the sandwich!
