1 1/2 c. cold milk 1/2 c. peanut butter 1 pkg. (4 serving size) Jello instant pudding, any flavor 16 large round cookies (about 3 inches in diameter) DECORATIONS: Candy corn Red Licorice Halved fruit slices Red cinnamon candies Add milk gradually to peanut butter in medium bowl, blending until smooth. Add pudding mix. Beat with wire whisk until well blended, about 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Spread filling about 1/2 inch thick on 8 or the cookies. Top with remaining cookies, pressing lightly. Decorate as turkeys using candy corn for tail feathers, red licorice pieces for the feet and halved fruit slices as the head. Use red cinnamon candies attached to fruit slices with pudding mixture to form eyes. Freeze until firm, about 3 hours. Let stand at room temperature 10 minutes before serving or until candies are softened. Makes 8 sandwiches. |
