GOULASH 
1 lb. ground beef
1 tsp. salt
1 (7 oz.) pkg. macaroni
1 can tomato sauce
1 tsp. chili powder
1 tbsp. fat
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 med. onion
1/2 lb. cheese, grated

Brown meat; add chopped onion and let cook until onion wilts. Cook macaroni according to directions on the package. Drain and add to meat. Add all other ingredients. Cover and cook very slowly until cheese is melted. Yield: 6 servings.
