CHEESE STRAWS 
1 lb. sharp cheddar cheese
1 stick butter
1/8 tsp. red pepper
2 c. plain flour
1 tsp. salt

Grate cheese. Cream cheese and butter together. Gradually add flour, salt and pepper. Put mixture through cookie press.

Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 10 minutes at 350°F. Do not overcook. Cool well.
