MEAT, BEAN, POTATO CASSEROLE 
1 tbsp. oil
1 lb. extra lean ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1 lg. or 2 med. potatoes, sliced
1 (15 1/2 oz.) can chili without beans
1 (No. 303) can kidney beans
3 sm. tomatoes, peeled and sliced
3 or 4 slices bacon

Put oil in bottom of a 3 quart casserole. Arrange a single layer of ground beef. Cover with chopped onion, then a layer of potatoes, chili, kidney beans and sliced tomatoes. Arrange bacon over top. No salt necessary Cover and bake 1 hour and 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Serves 8 generously. Be sure to dip down to the bottom of the dish when serving.
