PUMPKIN - ICE CREAM DUO 
1/4 c. brown sugar, firmly packed
3/4 c. solid pack pumpkin
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ginger
Dash of ground nutmeg
Dash of ground cloves
1/4 tsp. salt
1 qt. vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
1 (9 inch) cracker crust
Whipped topping (optional)
1/2 c. pecans, chopped (optional)

Combine sugar, pumpkin, spices and salt. Place slightly softened ice cream in bowl, add pumpkin mixture, stirring quickly, just until blended. Pour at once into chilled crust. Freeze until firm.
