PECAN BRITTLE 
3 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 c. chopped pecans
2 tbsp. butter

Heat sugar and salt together in heavy skillet over high heat until sugar starts to lump. Lower heat and stir until sugar melts. Stir in pecans and butter. Pour immediately onto buttered cookie sheet, spreading thin. Cool and break into pieces.
