CANDIED GINGER COOKIES 
3/4 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. chopped candied ginger

Mix in order given. Chill. Roll into balls and flatten with bottom of glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 minutes.
