CARAMEL ICING 
2 c. light brown sugar
1 c. granulated sugar
2 tbsp. shortening
1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla

Cook sugar, salt, and milk together. Stir until all the lumps are dissolved. Then remove from heat, add shortening and cook to 110 degrees before adding vanilla. Beat hard until it will shape on cake, then spread.
