SCOTCH JUMBLES COOKIES 
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3 eggs
1/3 cup milk
2 cups rolled oats
1 (12 oz.) pkg. Nestle butterscotch morsels
1 cup raisins
3/4 cup chopped nuts (optional)

Sift together flour, salt, cinnamon and baking soda and set aside.

Combine in a bowl sugar, butter and eggs. Beat until creamy. Gradually blend flour mixture with milk; add creamy mixture. Stir in rolled oats, Nestle butterscotch morsels, raisins and chopped nuts (if desired). Drop by well rounded tablespoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet.

Bake at 350°F for 14 to 16 minutes.

Makes 4 dozen (3-inch) cookies.
