MACADAMIA NUT PIE | |
1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 tsp. vanilla 1/8 tsp. salt 3/4 c. light corn syrup 3 eggs 2/3 c. macadamia nuts (chopped) 1 (9 inch) unbaked pie shell Cream together butter, sugar, vanilla and salt. Blend in syrup. Add eggs slowly, stirring until well mixed. Fold in nuts. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce heat to 325 degrees and bake 45 minutes longer until a knife inserted in center comes out clean. |
