CHEWY BUTTERSCOTCH BARS 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. plain flour, sifted
1 c. chopped nuts
2 tsp. baking powder
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Melt butter and sugar together in saucepan. Bring to boil over low heat, stirring constantly. Cool slightly. Add eggs one at a time and beat well. Add remaining ingredients and pour into greased 9x13-inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool and cut into bars.
