PEANUT BRITTLE CANDY | |
2 c. sugar 2 c. raw peanuts 1/2 c. corn syrup 1 tsp. baking powder 1. Mix sugar, peanuts, water and corn syrup in a saucepan. Cook on high and stir. 2. When peanuts start popping and syrup turns brown, add baking soda. 3. When it rises quickly, spread it in a buttered pan. While it is still warm mark it with a knife so that when it cools it will break in squares. |
