MEXICAN CORNBREAD 
1 1/2 c. white corn meal
1 c. sweet milk (3/4 c. if eggs are large)
2 eggs
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 can cream corn
1/2 lb. grated cheese
1 lg. onion, chopped
1 button garlic, chopped
3 or 4 Jalapeno peppers
1/4 c. bacon grease

Mix all ingredients together. Put in greased pan. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees.
