CHINESE NEW YEAR COOKIE 
1 pkg. (10 oz. to 12 oz.) butterscotch chips
1 pkg. (10 to 12 oz.) peanut butter chips
6 oz. packaged chow mein noodles
1 to 2 c. unsalted peanuts

Mix on low heat butterscotch and peanut butter chips until melted (or melt in microwave one minute and stir. Then cook one more minute). Add chow mein noodles and peanuts. Stir until blended. Droop onto waxed paper by teaspoonful, to quickly firm cookies, drop onto cookie sheets and put them in the refrigerator for a few minutes instead of onto waxed paper.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
