BUTTER CAKE 
Crust:

1 box yellow cake mix
1/2 c. butter, melted
1 egg

With mixer, blend until moistened on low speed. Mix on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pat into bottom of 10X15 jelly roll pan. Set aside.

Filling:

3 1/3 c. powdered sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp. vanilla
3 3 oz. cream cheese
1 1/2 c. sifted powdered sugar

Mix powdered sugar, eggs, vanilla and cream cheese together on low speed. Then beat for 5 minutes on high speed. Add 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar, and beat for another 5 minutes on high. Pour mixture over crust, spreading evenly.

Bake at 350°F for 40 minutes or until golden brown. When cool, slice into squares.
