OLD GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
8 sm. potatoes
1 diced onion
1/2 diced green pepper
1 c. diced celery
2/3 c. vinegar
2/3 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
Salt and pepper to taste

Boil potatoes with jacket. Peel and cut in cubes or slices. Add green pepper, celery, and salt to taste. Fry bacon and onion until brown. Add flour and stir until smooth. Add vinegar and sugar; cook until smooth and not too thick. Pour over potato mixture. Serves 8.
