TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
1 lg. can unsweetened pineapple chunks
2 c. miniature marshmallows
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 egg, beaten
1 1/2 tbsp. vinegar
2 1/2 c. diced unpeeled apples
8 oz. Cool Whip
1 1/2 c. crushed peanuts

Drain pineapple and save juice. Mix pineapple with marshmallows and apples. Refrigerate overnight. Mix flour, juice, sugar, egg and vinegar. Cook until thick, stirring. Refrigerate overnight. Add fruit mixture to Cool Whip and mix well, then add sauce. Mix all together and top with peanuts.
