SALSA DE CHILI COLORADO 
1 lg. can whole tomatoes
8 green onion
1 bunch cilantro
Whole red chili tepins
1 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. garlic powder (optional)

Drain tomatoes, save juice. Blend tomatoes and chili tepins in blender, using amount of chilies according to taste (6 will make it hot - caliente). Chop onion and cilantro. Put all ingredients in bowl including juice drained from tomatoes. Add salt, oregano and garlic powder to taste. Stir and let set in refrigerator for 1/2 hour. Ready for dipping.
