BROWNIE CUPCAKES 
4 squares semi sweet chocolate
2 sticks butter
1 1/2 c. chopped pecans
1 c. unsifted flour
4 lg. eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 3/4 c. sugar
Pinch of salt

Preheat oven to 325 degrees. Melt chocolate and butter over low heat in heavy pan. Add nuts and coat well. Mix sugar, flour, eggs and vanilla by hand until blended. DO NO BEAT. Add chocolate-nut mixture. Mix carefully, not beating. Fill cupcake cups 1/2 to 3/4 full. Bake at 325 degrees for 35 minutes. Makes 24 cupcakes.
