CRUSTY CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE 
3 c. sifted cake flour
1 c. butter
1/2 c. shortening
3 c. sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
6 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla

Measure 3 cups sifted cake flour in a bowl and set aside. Cream together the butter and shortening. Add sugar gradually to the creamed butter and butter. Beat in the cream cheese. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs. Now alternate the eggs and flour into the batter, ending with the flour. Add vanilla. Grease a tube cake pan and bake at 325 degrees for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
