CHOCOLATE CHEESECAKE 
1 Duncan Hines brownie mix
1/2 c. water
1 egg

Mix or beat until well blended.

CHEESE MIXTURE:

3 (8 oz.) pkgs. cream cheese
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs

Note: You will also need 1/4 cup chocolate chips.

Beat until creamy smooth.

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 inch springform pan. Pour a layer of about 1/3 chocolate mixture in pan and spread evenly. Put all of the cheese mixture on top of that and spread evenly. Sprinkle 1/4 cup chocolate chips. Top with remaining chocolate mixture.

Bake for 1 hour. Cool at room temperature, then refrigerate for a few hours or overnight, covered. Cake tastes best when very cold.

For "Black Forest" cheesecake, just top with cherry topping and chocolate curls.
