MOCHA BALLS 
1 c. butter
1/2 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla

1 3/4 c. flour
1/4 c. cocoa
1 tbsp. instant coffee
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chopped maraschino or candied cherries

Combine all ingredients. (Dough is dry but can be pinched together.) Shape into 1 inch balls. Bake at 325 degrees for about 20 minutes. Roll in powdered sugar while still warm.
