PORK CHOPS SKILLET DINNER 
6 lean pork chops
2 tbsp. shortening
Salt and pepper
1 c. tomato juice
3 med. onions
3 med. potatoes
6 wedges cabbage
6 carrots
Paprika

Brown pork chops lightly in shortening. Salt and pepper to taste. Add tomato juice, cover tightly and simmer 45 minutes. Prepare vegetables and add. Sprinkle with paprika and additional salt. Cover and cook until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes. Add additional tomato juice while cooking, if needed. (There should be very little liquid left when ready to serve.)
