CABBAGE SALAD 
2 qt. shredded cabbage
3 lg. onions, sliced thin
2 green or red peppers, cut fine

DRESSING:

1 tbsp. salt
1 3/4 c. vinegar (apple cider preferably)
1 1/4 c. sugar
3/4 tbsp. celery seed or celery salt
3/4 tbsp. prepared yellow mustard
1/2 tsp. turmeric

Mix. Heat mixture and pour over vegetables. Mix well and chill several hours. Will keep several weeks in the refrigerator. The longer it sets, the better!
