APPLE STREUSEL PIE 
10 inch deep dish unbaked shell
6 apples, sliced (8 c.)
1 2/3 c. sour cream
1 c. sugar
1 lg. egg
1/3 c. flour
2 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. walnuts
1/2 c. flour
1/2 c. soft butter, unsalted
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. brown sugar
Pinch salt

I:

Combine and fill into 10 inch deep dish unbaked shell: 8 cups apples, 1 2/3 cups sour cream, 1 cup sugar, 1 large egg, 1/3 cup flour, 2 teaspoons vanilla, 1/2 teaspoon salt. Bake at 450 degrees for 10 minutes, then reduce to 350 degrees for 35 minutes.

II:

Mix 1 cup walnuts, 1/2 cup each flour and unsalted soft butter, 1/3 cup each sugar and brown sugar, pinch salt. Crumble and sprinkle on top. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.
