CHEESE STRATA 
12 slices white bread (cut edges of crust while bread is partially frozen)
3/4 lb. sharp process American cheese, sliced
2 c. finely diced cooked or canned ham
6 slightly beaten eggs
3 1/2 c. milk
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. dry mustard

Fit bread in bottom of greased 13 x 9 inch baking dish. Place cheese in layer over bread. Add layer of ham. Combine remaining ingredients. Pour over bread and cheese. Cover and refrigerate 6 hours or overnight. Bake, uncovered, at 325 degrees for 1 hour. Let stand out of oven 10 minutes before slicing.
