NORWEGIAN BUTTER YEAST COOKIES 
1 lb. butter
2 egg yolks
1 c. sugar
4 c. flour (sifted)
1 pkg. dry yeast
Egg whites (slightly beaten)
1 c. chopped nuts

Beat butter and sugar. Add egg yolks and yeast. Blend in flour and chill. Roll one tablespoon of dough into a ball, flatten and dip into slightly beaten egg whites and then into chopped nuts.

Bake in 375 degree oven for 15 minutes or until slightly brown.
