PEANUT BARS 
1 yellow cake mix
2/3 c. soft butter
1 egg

3 c. sm. marshmallows

TOPPING:

12 oz. chips (peanut butter, chocolate or butterscotch)
2/3 c. Karo white syrup
2 c. Rice Krispies
2 tsp. vanilla
2 c. roasted peanuts

Mix crust material and pat in 9 x 13 inch pan for 350 degrees for 15 minutes. Then spread marshmallows on top and return to the oven for 2 minutes.

Melt chips and syrup over low heat. Add Rice Krispies, vanilla and nuts. Spread this mixture over marshmallows when they are taken from the oven.
