MY RECIPE FOR YEAST ROLLS 
3 c. bread flour
1 pkg. rapid rise yeast
1/3 c. powdered milk
3 tbsp. sugar
1/2 c. instant potatoes
1 tsp. salt
1/2 stick butter, melted
1 egg, beaten
1 1/3 c. hot water

Mix 1 1/2 cups flour, yeast and all other dry ingredients. Pour 1 1/3 cups hot water over and mix well. Add butter and egg; beat well. Then rest of the flour. Let set about 10 minutes. Make into rolls and let rise 30 to 45 minutes in oven that has been warmed 200 degrees for 5 minutes. Brush tops with milk or buttermilk or butter. Rolls have doubled in volume. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes.
