SOUTHWESTERN SUN TEA
Works best in Southwestern USA and its mostly sunny skies, but you need 6 hours of mostly sunny skies for best results.

clear sun tea container with lid ("solar tea", sold in stores)
6 regular tea bags (generic tea is fine)
1 to 1 1/4 cups sugar
water

Fill sun tea container nearly to brim with water. Add six tea bags to water and screw on lid. Place sun tea container in direct sun for 6 to 7 hours.

Take jar inside, remove tea bags after first squeezing them into jar. Add sugar to taste (1 cup minimum and 1 1/4 cups if you like it sweeter) and stir vigorously for at least 30 seconds.

Chill in refrigerator for a few hours and serve in glasses over ice cubes.

Makes approximately 3 liters of sun tea.

Note: In winter months use 7 tea bags instead of 6.
