ONE PAN BUSY WOMAN'S DINNER 
Bacon
Hamburger patties
Sliced potatoes
Carrots
Onion
Green pepper
1 c. water
Salt and pepper to taste

Line a skillet (electric skillet is best) with bacon. Let the bacon fry until enough bacon fat covers skillet bottom. Put a layer of hamburger patties on top of bacon. Salt and pepper each layer.

Put a thick layer of sliced potatoes over the hamburger patties. Place a layer of carrots, sliced thin on top of potatoes. Put a layer of onions, sliced thin, on top of carrots. Place a layer of green peppers, sliced thin, on top of onions.

Pour in 1 cup of water, cover and let simmer 40 to 60 minutes. Serve right from skillet. Check often to see that it is not sticking as you may need to add a little more water.
