YUMMY, EASY CORN BREAD 
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. shortening
2 eggs
1 c. sour milk
1 tsp. cream of tartar
1 1/4 c. corn meal
1 tsp. baking soda
1 c. flour
1 tsp. salt

Preheat oven to 400°F for at least 15 minutes before baking. Combine ingredients and pour into a greased pan. Do not overmix.

Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until done.
