MARASCHINO CHERRY BARS 
CRUST:

2 c. flour
1 c. softened butter
1/2 c. powdered sugar

FILLING:

2 eggs plus 1 egg yolk
1 1/2 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. flour
1/2 c. chopped maraschino cherries
1 c. chopped nuts

FROSTING:

2 c. powdered sugar
1/4 c. melted butter
Cherry juice

Mix crust ingredients together and pat into a 15 x 10 inch jelly roll pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes.

For filling, beat eggs; add brown sugar, baking powder, flour, cherries and nuts. Beat well. Pour over crust and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes. Cool. Mix frosting and spread on bars.
